This page provides image credits, source notes, licence information, and modification details for the historical images used in The Family Tree of the Roman Emperors, a 2026 KBM Charts poster project.
The poster design, layout, text, diagrams, visual system, and original editorial work are © 2026 KBM Charts. All rights reserved. The historical images reproduced within the poster remain under their respective original licences, public-domain statuses, or open-access terms, as listed below.
Most image sources are drawn from Wikimedia Commons, museum open-access collections, public-domain archives, Creative Commons licensed files, and other source repositories that identify the relevant material as reusable. Each entry aims to provide the source title, creator or photographer where available, repository, source link, licence or rights status, and any modifications made for the poster.
Many images have been cropped, resized, colour-adjusted, background-extended, or otherwise prepared for integration into the poster layout. Where AI-assisted background extension has been used, it was applied to surrounding background areas for compositional purposes; the depicted historical object, coin, statue, or portrait was not intentionally altered.
Attribution entries follow a practical TASL-style format where available: title, author or photographer, source, licence, and modifications. Public-domain objects, CC0 files, Creative Commons licensed photographs, and museum open-access materials are distinguished as clearly as possible according to the information provided by their original repositories.
This credits page does not grant permission to reuse the poster as a whole. Reuse of individual source images should follow the licence or rights status of each original image source.

Sulla (138-78 BC)
Full name: Lucius Cornelius Sulla Felix
Office: Consul 82, 80 BC; Dictator 82-80 BC
Source title: Sulla Glyptothek Munich 309.jpg
Object Description: So-called “Sulla”, free copy (probably from the time of Augustus) after a portrait of an important Roman from the 2nd century BC. Because of many details this bust has in common with the so-called «Marius» (proportions, open mouth, large eyes), it has been suggested that both statues (brothers, adversaries?) were conceived and exhibited together.
